Measurement Tools & Hooks Attached to Wall via French Cleats


 Installing the hooks onto a French Cleat is easy as shown by the last photo, just glue the squared top surface plywood to the bottom surface plywood that has the 45 degree cut in it. Then you have 2 layers of plywood to get a couple of good screws with bite to support the hook – I think I used short deck screws.

I was tired of looking all over for my measurement devices. So I got a piece of plywood, put it on the workbench and figured out the spacing and how the devices would be secured to the plywood surface.

I still have more measurement items for which I need to find homes, but now at least I now know where these devices are located and they are easily accessible.
